Chinked~Out: Kuala Lumpur

Hey guys. So, during my Deepavali break, I got the chance to hang out with Ruthresh and yea it was awesome! XD

Lot10 rooftop lift entrance. It gave me quite a unique impression bout this.

And, here's the consequences of using a 5MP camera phone. XD

Christmas is early this year....I think it's because of the Mayan predictions? XD

And you wouldn't miss the giant big red ball labelled Pavilion...every Christmas...every year. The decorations and ornaments just gets more and more, and the more there are, the merrier it would be!

Perhaps not of the 'pepper lunch' that I expected. Basically, it's rice, with corn, with onion leaves, butter and a few chunks of meat...on a plate...which is hot. With a price of RM15, it doesn't come with drinks! (well, there's self service cold water dispenser)

Had Tong Pak Fu shredded ice dessert. Coffee flavoured. but its kinda bitter. Sweetness not well "exhibited"

Visited Genting Highlands. They had a Magic exhibition something like that...

Genting. First World Plaza.

Lum Mee at Mei Keng. Proclaimed as one of the best Lum Mee in town, but nothing much distinguishable. Dad says that it was kinda expensive.

Had a Italian...spaghetti. No pic of the food. Still ok...lah.

My first visit to the Curve, Ikano Power Centre and IKEA.

Visited KL with Kwan Hau. That day, we visited places that I've never been before. Kwan Hau says that if I would like to learn more about photography, I could learn from those expert model photographers. Compared to the nature photographers, I'd be able to learn more about the equipment and skills in photo shooting. he brought me to the Actor's Studio as he's interested in becoming an intern. He is studying cinematography, by the way.

They have a bar and restaurant at the rooftop of Lot 10.

Then we visited Starhill Gallery.

Then we stopped by Pavilion. Passed by Tokyo Street.

This is Kwan Hau.

I never thought a tea house could survive in Kuala Lumpur. Most of the places are normally dominated by Coffee shops.

I had an extraordinary lunch with him at Ben's. This is Pesto Spaghetini and I think, literally, it's vegetarian...although I have no idea what are those pale-coloured-slices. Overall, it was nice. Quite garlicky, and the sauce was evenly attached on each strand of the pasta....meaning the sauce was neither too liquid nor too thick.

And we played table games. Basically it was me asking Kwan Hau questions from the card.

Also, we visited KLCC for the book fair. I bought 2 books. One is Starbucked and another is Creating your own Economy, which I have no idea how I ended with such book. Still struggling with Starbucked, but quite interesting. Well, it ain't that easy to read a non-fiction compared to a novel. It took quite some of my time on the dictionary trying to understand the words.

And I had chocolate...with sea salt. Like its purpose, the salt works well with the chocolate and the nuts.

And Kah Yan, Ho, Ting Meau, Kah Yenn and I went ice skating. Despite some bruises on the knees and a twisted wrist, at least I know how to skate...a little. Then, we met up with Kek Leong, Chor Jhun, Wai Loon, and Joanne. We had lunch at Full House and after Kah Yenn left, we hunted for her birthday gift... Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. This was my first time Ho giving me a lift back home.

and this is Kah Yenn's birthday card. It wasn't my idea.

Dad and I tried out Wat Dan Hor 滑蛋河 at Lee Niu 李牛记 nearby the market. Seriously slippery sauce, but not enough wok hei 锅气 aroma. Lee Niu is famous for its fire-wood cooking style.

This is our Malaysian Studies class where most of the students didn't turn up.

"It is my social obligation to conduct the class although most of you are not here", says Dr. Steven, our lecturer.

Finally...influenced by the Starbucked book, I got the chance to enjoy the Java Chip Frappuccino with whipped cream with chocolate syrup. RM18...

Celebrated my mock exam results eating nasi lemak and dessert at Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Too bad my final exam result didn't come up so well. Blah!

While Dad visited the furniture fair in PWTC, I decided to loiter around. Actually, it's a great place to understand our country's history. At least, it's better than the textbook. The illustrations were great and they are running out of space to draw.

Any Man Utd fans here? and there's a internet cafe beside it.

We also dropped by a temple 九皇爷庙 located at Ampang.

This is the school behind the temple.

And we also tried out Ampang's famous Yong Tau Fu.

Basically it's nice...and they served them the moment Dad placed the order. They have quite a unique system here. They announce their dishes and orders through microphones. and calculated our bills using pens and papers.

and our class attended a grooming session conducted by Ms. Wendy Lee.

Yum Cha with friends. Choo came back from his 6-week vacation to China Hong Kong and Macau.

and on Saturday I went for Taekwondo and badminton afterwards. Exhausting but totally worth the sweat. Planned to climb Broga Hill on Monday with parents. Woke up at 6 and it rained. Mum refused to go that early so we waited till 10:00 and when arrived, the trails were muddy and parents freaked out. we went to the rabbit farm opposite the hill. Here's some pictures:
